Well that's the summer holiday over, rather than try and show Dennis how to update the web site it seemed easier to
just wait a couple of weeks.
It didn't seem much like summer this morning when setting up, but having seen the weather forecast we were just happy
to remain dry. When people started to arrive wearing jackets and hats you couldn't believe we were in the middle of
August. Despite a few threatening showers the rain that was expected never arrived which meant we had a good days
shoot.
Despite a few moans about the right to left crossers off the tower being too far away! Most people seemed to enjoy the
challenge, the top score for the day was 43 which goes to show that it was possible to hit them.
Bank Holiday Monday Snooker Shoot!
It was decided today that the famous "Snooker Shoot" will take place on Bank Holiday Monday (25th August) we will be
open from 11:00hrs to 14:00hrs. For those of you who missed the last snooker shoot, it is a turn up, enter, await your
turn and shoot event. Be prepared for some jovial banter from the onlookers and others waiting for their turn.
Unfortunately Val is not available on the day so a kitchen will not be operating. We should be able sort out some tea
and coffee even if it's self serve.
